Why do MTech?

Now that there are so many options for different PG programs (MTech, MBA, MS etc..), students often tend to weigh each course against the other. If you are in the same process, let us help you in weighing MTech.

From our experience, students and working people wanted MTech for one or more of the following reasons

1. College of BTech is little known or has the least placement record. We need a better credential from a well-known Institute. ( 70% Candidates)
2. MTech is a higher qualification which means better job/position/salary. (5%)
3. I like my abc sub-branch of my xyz branch(example Embedded systems for ECE students), I d like to pursue further education in that direction out of interest.(5%)
4. I wish to go for PG but other PG programs are costly and I cant afford them. I can pursue MTech with a stipend.(10%)
5. I am not ready for job yet/ getting a seat is easier compared to my other career options( funny but 10% atleast)

If you ask us we ll make it super clear:

If you are a final year student and are still trying to figure out career options, go for Masters. Choose a program as per your desires (Knowledge, pay scales, prestige etc.). Once you enter a PG program another wide range of options open up. So you ve just bought yourself a great deal of time to figure out your career.

If it’s a question between MS and MTech, its a call between FINANCE, Interest, requirement and oppertunities. That’s a whole other story and we are not MS Experts.
